Clifford E. Hobbs

CLIFFORD E. HOBBS, age 73 of Castine, Ohio died Friday, February 27, 2004 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Born on September 11, 1930 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Edgar Lewis & Ruth Ellen (Ruby) Hobbs. He retired from Murray Security in Dayton and had formerly worked with Voyles News Agency in Richmond, Indiana and Williams 66 Service in Richmond. He was a member of Price’s Creek Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by Son: Stephen Duane Hobbs in 1989; Granddaughter: Jessica Baker in 1989; Brothers: Edward and Lewis Hobbs; Sister: Doris Angi.

Survivors include wife of 53 years: Barbara J. (Cail) Hobbs; Daughters: Diana Baker, West Manchester, Ohio, Sandra Bailey, Greenville, Ohio, Catherine Cail, New Paris, Ohio; Sons: Terry Hobbs, Freeport, Illinois, David Hobbs, Edwardsville, Illinois; Sister: Glenna McNutt, Richmond, Indiana. 14 Grandchildren and Numerous Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, March 1, 2004 at the Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio.. Interment will be held in Monroe Cemetery, Eldorado, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 29, 2004 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dayton Heart Hospital- 707 Edwin C.
