Clifford Albert

CLIFFORD ALBERT, age 88, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Monday, February 4, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on March 13, 1919 in Lewisburg, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herbert K. & Clara (James) Albert. Clifford owned and operated a farm in Lewisburg for most of his life. He was a 1938 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School in Ohio. Clifford was a Harrison Township Trustee for several years.

Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Marjorie I. Albert in 2004; son, James C. Albert in 2002; granddaughter, Annette Marie Albert in 1965.

Survived by his daughter, Judy Schaefer of Lewisburg, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Caroline Albert of Brookville, Ohio; grandchildren, Allen & Sandra Ray, Bryan & Leslie Ray, Craig Ray, Danielle Varner, Roberta Albert, Kristina & Paul Jurgens, Janene McNew and James Albert; great grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Chelsea, Kayla, Caity, Cadence, Lindsey, Branden, Jalana, Kati, Karis, Chris, Robert, & Lucas; special friend, Dorine Carroll of Lewisburg, Ohio; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
