Cledis Todd

CLEDIS TODD, age 91, formerly of West Elkton, Ohio died Friday, September, 14, 2007 at his residence in Monroe, Ohio. Born on January 6, 1916 in Red Lick, Kentucky he was the son of the late Tilmon & Frances Elizabeth (Powell) Todd. Member of the Somerville Pentecostal Church, Cledis was a farmer and cattle buyer all of his life in the Preble County area.

Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years: Lucy E. (Gibson) Todd in 1995; daughter: Shirley Fraley in 1995; son-in-law: Zenith Fraley in 2006; brother: Willard Todd.

Survived by grandchildren: Jeff & Melissa Wood of Lake Panasoffkee Florida, Cindy & Jim Planck of Middletown, Ohio, Barbara Wood of Morehead, Kentucky, John Wood of Middletown, Ohio and Joseph & Sharon Fraley of Morehead, Kentucky; great grandchildren: Brian & Angi Harris of Middletown, Ohio, Clint Planck of Fairfield, Ohio, Amanda & Ben Burleson of Eaton, Ohio, Rachel & Thomas Carroll of Morehead, Kentucky; great great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Xavier and Jasmine; sisters: Mae Schelcher of Centerville, Ohio, Amanda Marie Langdon of Denver, Colorado; special friends: David & Kim Bratton of Middletown, Ohio and Bob & Cledith Barnes of Germantown, Ohio; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Riley Parker officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery in St. Clair Township, Butler County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
