Clarence Gene Hamm, Sr.

Clarence Gene Hamm, Sr., 77, of Brookville, OH, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on November 19, 1938 in Nueces Co., TX, he was the son of the late Maurice D. & Jane Marie (Norwood) Hamm. He was a self-employed roofer and served in the U.S. Navy. Member of First Baptist Church, Brookville. Preceded in death by Son: Bruce A. Hamm; Brothers: Mitchell B., Charles E. and Stanley K. Hamm.

Survived by Wife of 15 years: Shawn Lynn (Green) Hamm; Sons: Clarence G. Hamm, Jr., Anthony S. (Cyndy) Hamm of NJ and Matthew O. Hamm, Brookville, OH. Brothers: Maurice D. Hamm, Jr., Fountain City, IN, Lesley G. (Katy) Hamm, Trotwood, OH; Sister: Shirley (Paul) Hill of FL. 9 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, OH with Pastor Timothy R. Rudd officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday from 9 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
