Christine M. Kilgore

Christine M. Kilgore age 86, of New Paris, Ohio died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at her residence. Christine was born on February 19, 1932 inCastlewood, Russell County, VA the daughter of the late Henry & Nola (Salyers) Stapleton. She was a Children’s Care Giver, member of the Eldorado Baptist Church and loved sewing and cooking. 

Preceded in death by her husband: Garland H. Kilgore in 1983; son: Lester H. Kilgore in 2014; brother: “Red” Billy M. Stapleton in 2015 

Survived by daughter & son-in-law: Joyce & David Baird of Georgetown, KY; daughter-in-law: Violet Kilgore of New Paris, OH; sister: Shirley Garland of Kingsport, TN; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; special niece: Judy & David French of New Paris, OH; many nieces and nephews. 

Family will receive friends 12:00 to 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Eldorado Baptist Church 118 North Main Street Eldorado, Ohio. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM at the church with Rev. Scott Moler officiating. Interment in Spring Lawn Cemetery New Paris, OH.
