Christ Allen Smith

Christ A. Smith, 75, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, July 15, 2022 in Richmond, Indiana. Born on August 20, 1946 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Amos F. & Flossie Ann (Sandlin) Smith.

Christ did various jobs in the Richmond area. He was a 1966 Eaton High School graduate, served in the U.S. Air Force and attended the First United Methodist Church in Richmond. He was an avid local and state fair patron, enjoyed all local high school sporting activities including Eaton High School, Seton High School and the Union County Indiana Patriots.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Brother-in-Law: Wayne Shelley and special uncle and aunts: Raymond (Mayfra) Smith and Jean Ray.

Survived by his Brother: Joe (Phyllis) Smith; Sister: R. Lucille Shelley; Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. – 12:45 P. M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
