Chester W. Bowers

Chester W. Bowers, 89 of New Paris, OH died Thursday, June 27, 2019.  Born on February 4, 1930 in Montgomery Co., OH son of the late, Paul E. & Olive (Seibel) Bowers. 

Chester proudly served in the Indiana National Guard.  He retired in 1992 from Belden in Richmond, IN and had worked for over 30 years. 
Member of the Slowdowners Camping Club and the Preble Little Turtles Camping Club.  Member of Price’s Creek Church of the Brethren. 

Preceded by Wife, Anna L. Bowers; Great Grandson, Andrew Bowers; Brothers, Maynard, Gerald and Herman Bowers. 

Survived by Daughter, Beverly A. (Nathan) Garber; Son, Dennis C. (Luanne) Bowers; Brother, Royce (Donna) Bowers; Sister, Esther Williams; Grandchildren, Dawn Garber, Leslie Copper, Chad (Anne) Garber and Brad (Dawn) Bowers; Great Grandchildren, Gracie Copper, Madison Copper, Olivia, Ruby, Mary & Caroline Bowers, Gabrielle, Madeleine & Evelyn Garber; Nieces and Nephews. 

Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH with Pastor Rodney Dunn & Pastor Don King officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W.
