Charlotte M. Barnhiser

Charlotte M. Barnhiser, 87, of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, September 05, 2016 in Troy, OH. Born on August 6, 1929 in Eldorado, OH, she was the daughter of the late Ted & Geneva (Eikenbery) Richards. She as a 1947 graduate of Monroe Central High School (Preble County) and a 1948 graduate of the Kosta Cosmetology School in Dayton. She owned and operated Charlotte's Beauty Shop in New Paris and West Manchester, OH. Member of Delta Thea Tau Sorority, Preble and Lewisburg Historical Societies, Preble County Widowed Persons and Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother in the 1950's and had worked at Freedman's Department from 1969 – 1982. Preceded in death by her Husband of 34 years: Ted D. Barnhiser in 1984 and her significant other of 17 years: Paul Banta in 2003.

Survived by her three children: Micky "Mick" (Cheryl) Barnhiser, Middeltown, OH, Vicky (Jim) Cass, Martinsville, IN and Christy Green and significant other (Don Lowe), Troy, OH. 5 Grandchildren: Dwight & Suann, Robin & Geno, Lori, Kathy & Troy and Leann. 11 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Brent Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 11: 00 A.M – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
