Charles William Swink

Charles William Swink, age 60, of Phoenix, Az. and formerly of Wayne County, Indiana died Monday, September 15, 2003 in Phoenix, Az. Born on July 9, 1943 in Spring Grove, Indiana he served as a Second Lieutenant, Forward Observer Artillery Division with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His passion was teaching and he retired from the Coronado High School in the Scottsdale Unified School District in 2000. Preceded in death by his Father: Harold Kenneth Swink in 1979.

Leaving behind those who love him. Mother: Helen Swink, Brother & Sister-In-Law: Jon & Linda Swink, Sister & Brother-In-Law: Rebecca & Michael Tamboli, Nieces: Cheryl Turner, Tina Schuh, Lisa Parsons and their husbands. Nephew and Niece: Anthony and Tonia Tamboli. Great Nieces: Ashlynn Turner, Annie and Kadie Schuh and Audrey Parsons. Nephews: Trevor Schuh and Brodie Parsons. Charles will be greatly missed by us all.

Funeral Service will be Friday, September 19, 2003 - 3:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Ron Sweigart officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2003 one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery - West Alexandria, Ohio with full military services provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
