Charles Richard Stemple

Charles Richard Stemple, age 80, of New Paris, OH, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Eaton. Born on April 30, 1937 in Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late Barney Edward & Edna Pearl (Krall) Stemple. He was a Baker for the Continental Baking Company in Cleveland, OH for over 40 years. A 1955 graduate of Jefferson Twp., High School, member of the Bakers Union and served in the Army National Guard of Ohio. Preceded in death by Wives: Patricia in 2003 and Barbara in 1988; Sons: Steven Allen Stemple in 1977 and Edward Lee Stemple in 1963; Brother: Jerry Lee Stemple in 1985. 

Survived by Daughter: Peggy Sue (Walter) Pollock, Son: Russell Charles (Krissy Nixon) Stemple; Sisters: Patricia Lou Prevatt, Hilda Henderson, Norma Jean Reiff and Esther Marie Ridenour; Brother: Robert M. “Bob” Stemple. Grandchildren: Hailey, Kimee and Mike. Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with Pastor Chris Farmer officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
