Charles R. McNally

Charles Robert McNally, age 84, of New Paris, Ohio, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones in the peace and comfort of his home. Born on February 5, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana, son of the late Thomas & Violet (Winters) McNally.

Charles had worked at Beldon in Richmond, Indiana for many years before retirement and was also a barber for several years before he worked & retired at the Beldon.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 360 in New Paris, Ohio. Member of the Marine Corps League in Richmond, Indiana. 

Member of St. John’s Catholic Church in New Paris, Ohio.

Preceded by his wife of 55 years, Barbara E. McNally in 2018.

Survived by his daughters that adored him, Angela McNally and Lisa (Ed) Parker; grandchildren, Heather Parker, Amber (Chris) Holland, Taylor Parker, Adali Schell, and Genevieve Schell; three great grandchildren, Vera, Owen, Lila; two brothers, Donald and Mike McNally; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris with full military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
