Charles E. Zumstein

CHARLES E. ZUMSTEIN , age 81 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at his residence. Born on October 8, 1923 in Wartburg, Tennessee he was the son of the late Clarence & Violet (Heidel) Zumstein. A resident of Lewisburg since 1946 he was the founder of Zumstein Inc of Lewisburg. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, American Legion Post # 213 of Lewisburg and the Lewisburg Chamber of Commerce. Preceded in death by his first wife of 39 years: Phyllis J. (Bliss) Zumstein in 1990.

Survived by Son and Daughter-in-law: Edwin & Debbie (Reed) Zumstein of Lewisburg, Ohio; Daughters and Sons-in-law: Marsha and Pete Jones, Suzanne Zumstein, Brenda Z. & Dan Gullickson and Belinda & Park Harry all of Lewisburg, Ohio; Wife: Glen Alice (Kreif)Zumstein of Lewisburg, Ohio; Step-daughter: Donna Maples; Sisters: Carolyn Hunter of Fairfield, Ohio and Marilyn Baggett of Leonardtown, Maryland; Brothers: William Zumstein of Ft. Mill, South Carolina, Dr. Robert Zumstein of Ariton, Alabama and Ronald Zumstein of Germantown, Tennessee. Eleven Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at - 12:00 P.M., Friday, March 4, 2005 at the Trinity Lutheran Church - 511 North Commerce St. - Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Brent L. Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg with full military honors. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
