Charles E. Davis

Charles E. Davis, 77, of Greenville, OH died Tuesday, March 18 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1925 in Wayne County, IN, the son of William E. and Osie (Havercost) Davis.
Charles retired in 1987 from Perfect Circle, Richmond, IN, where he worked for 37 years. He was a W.W.II veteran, stationed at Pearl Harbor, and was currently a member of the Greenville YMCA.

Charles is survived by his wife, Edna C. Davis of Richmond, IN.; daughter & son-in-law, Vicki L. & Barry L. Martindale, Eldorado, OH; sons & daughters-in-law, Charles E. Jr. & Karen R. Davis of Greenville, and David D. & Connie S. Davis of Eldorado; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Rosie Fair & Mary Rispoli of Staten Island, NY; special friends: Marty & Mike Burns and Dorothy Boolman, all of Greenville.
He was preceeded in death by 1 sister, Helen Winford and an infant son, Charles E. Davis II.

Funeral Service for Charles E. Davis will be Saturday, March 22, 10:00 AM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, with Pastor Mark Gardner officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call Friday, 5 - 8 PM at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
