Charles B. Hawkins

Charles B. Hawkins, age 67 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Saturday morning, November 1, 2008 at Heartland of Eaton. Born on September 30, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio he was the son of the late Howard P. & Dorothy E. (Gates) Hawkins. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran; 41 year member of the Local #290 Iron Workers of Dayton; John W. Durst #716 Masonic Lodge of Dayton.

Survivors include his wife of 41Years: Shirley M. (LeMaster) Hawkins; Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Charles Michael & Lorie Hawkins of Avon, IN and Rick & Nicole Hawkins of West Carrolton, OH; Daughter & Son-In-Law: Rhonda & Bruce Ritter of Lewisburg, OH; Twin Brother: Howard W. Hawkins and Sister: Caroline E. Hawkins both of Clearwater, FL. 8 Grandchildren: Jason Ritter, Christopher Ritter, Thomas Ritter, Kelly Ritter, Michelle Ritter, Michael Ritter, Zachary Hawkins and Victoria Hawkins; 1 Great Grandchild: Caleb Spears; Uncle & Aunt: John & Florence Hawkins of Dayton, OH. Funeral Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. George W. Pennington officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Veteran honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
