Charles Arlen Young

Charles Arlen Young, 88, of Somerville, Ohio, died Saturday, February 11, 2023 at his residence. Born on May 14, 1934 in Holcomb, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles M. & Dorothea (Kroger) Young.

Charles worked at Moraine Material from 1967 to 1997. He loved nature and driving around the Somerville area in his golf cart with his four-legged companion Daisy. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. James W. Thomson and staff.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 7 siblings.

Survived by his Wife of 38 years: Helen (Perkins) Young; Daughters: Ruth (Dennis) Felblinger, Betty (Troy) Wagers, Carol Miller and Teresa Osborn; Stepdaughters: Janet Tate and Terri Gliott; Siblings: Norma Beckett and Betty Hostetler. Grandchildren: Denny Lee Felblinger, Aaron Felblinger, Lenny Rumpler, Rod Rumpler, Troy J. “TJ” Wagers, Emily Wyant, Missy Vaughn, Amanda Osborn, Rochell Osborn and Whitney Cason, 22 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Many Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
