Charles A. Rike

Charles A. Rike, 86, of Lewisburg, OH, died, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his residence. Born on October 28, 1930 in Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late David & Grace (House) Rike. Charles was a Harrison and Twin Twp. Farmer and had worked for Marble Cliff Quarry and Paul Manufacturing for many years.

Preceded in death by his Wife of 67 years: Edith L. (Kreitzer) Rike; Brothers and Sisters: Sarah Louise Masters, James Edward Rike, Fred E. Rike, Suzanna Box, Donald Lowell Rike, Richard David Rike, Gerald Theodore "Ted" Rike and Frances Josephine Sizemore.

Survived by Daughter & Son-in-law: Shirley A. & Roger L. Krull; Grandchildren: Ben (Melissa) Krull, Tim (Lisa) Krull and Charley (Karen) Krull; Great Grandchildren: Hannah, Austin, Zane, Cheyanne and Shawnee. Sister: Ada Wysong; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Darren LaRue officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
