Charles A. "Charlie" Howard

CHARLES A. "CHARLIE" HOWARD, 71 of West Elkton, OH died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at his residence. Born on February 16, 1943 in Preble County, OH, son of the late Edwin C. & Mary A. (Kitson) Howard. Charlie married JoAn Bowman on December 16, 1961. Charlie loved bowling and fishing, he especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charlie retired on December 31, 1995 after 30 years at General Motors in Moraine, OH.

Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, JoAn Howard in 2014; brothers, George Howard and Glenn Howard.

Survivors include his sons, Charles "Andy" Howard II of Camden, OH, Arthur "Tiger" Howard of New Miami, OH and Donald "Peanut" (Susan) Howard of Collinsville, OH; brother, Eddie Howard of Middletown, OH, Bob Howard of Eaton, OH, Dave Howard of Somerville, OH, Danny (Marilynn) Howard of Crawfordsville, OH and Terry Howard of McArthur, OH; sisters, Margaret Back of Franklin, OH, Marggie (Curt) Mullins of Virginia and Melva Chenowith of Eaton, OH; grandchildren, Aleshia Bokeno, Tiffany Puckett, Kalinda Howard, Austin Howard and Donovan Howard; great grandchildren, Savannah, Noah, Preston, and Trevor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main Street, Camden, OH with Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, OH.
