Channing H. Bailey

CHANNING H. BAILEY, age 83, of Lewisburg, Ohio died Friday, April 16, 2004 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on November 8, 1920 in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Preston & Mattie (Hypes) Bailey. He retired in 1985 from construction work and was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church in Lewisburg. Preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Virginia(Crickenberger) Bailey in 1993; sisters: Exie Richard and Lucille Smith and brother: Kenneth Bailey and son-in-law: Donald Burgan.

Survived by daughter: Carolyn Burgan of Lewisburg, Ohio; sister: Mildred Wiley of West Milton, Ohio; brother: Kyle Bailey of Princeton, West Virginia; grandchildren: Brooke Burgan and Levi Burgan both of Lewisburg, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael D. Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
