Chad Ford

CHARLES HENRY "CHAD" FORD, 26, of New Paris, Ohio, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at his residence. Chad was born on November 19, 1983 in Richmond, Indiana. He attended Eaton High School and from 2005 to 2007 served in the Ohio National Guard- Division 1487 in Eaton. Chad worked at Ace Hardware in Eaton, was a member of the American Legion Post 360 in New Paris and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Ford; maternal grandfather, Charles DeMeo and uncle, Tom Ford.

Chad is survived by his father, Frank(Tammy Emrick) Ford of New Paris; mother, Cindy Petty of Eaton; sisters, Kellie Pence of Eaton and Andi Pence of Plainfield, Indiana; paternal grandmother, Connie Ford of New Paris; maternal grandmother, Josie DeMeo of Richmond; aunt, Julie McKnight of New Paris; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio 45347 with Tim Love officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
