Cecil C. Ogg

Cecil C. Ogg, 90, of Eaton, OH, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Vancrest of Eaton. Born on February 10, 1926 in Berea, KY, son of the late Luther F. & Mary H. (Henderson) Ogg. Cecil had worked for United Telephone Company in Eaton, OH for 35 years. Member of the First Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, V.F.W., Preble County Honor Guard all of Eaton, OH. Cecil proudly served in the US Army.

Preceded by his wife, Marjorie Ann Ogg in 2014.

Survived by his sons & daughter-in-law, Cecil C. Ogg, Jr. of Wilmington, OH and Thomas R. & Carolyn Ogg of Gratis, OH; daughters & son-in-law, Mary Ann Ogg of Texas and Christina L. & Terry Birdsley of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Luther Ogg of Gratis, OH, Tommy & Lindsay Ogg of Middletown, OH, Tray Birdsley, Luckas Birdsley and Allie Birdsley all of Oklahoma; sister, Opal I. King of Washington; 2 step daughters & 3 step grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Internment held at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria, OH. Military Honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home in Eaton.
