Catherine L. Reynolds

Catherine L. Reynolds, age 86 of New Paris, OH died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Koester Pavilion in Troy, OH. She was born on October 23, 1929 in Webster, IN, daughter of the late Layman Lloyd & Esther Etta (Tomlinson) McDermitt. Catherine worked in housekeeping and worked at the New Paris Carryout. She was a member of the Preble County Council on Aging in Eaton.

In addition to her parents Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Reynolds; sister, Clara Porter and brothers-in-law, Bill Porter and Bob Bumpus.

Survived by her daughter, Debbie Torres of San Jose, CA; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas (Joyce) Stephens of Arkansas, Michael (Ola) Reynolds of Pleasanton, TX, David (Catherine) Reynolds of Piqua, OH and Robert Reynolds of Greenville, OH; brothers: Lloyd (LaDema) McDermitt of Whitewater, IN and David (Carol Ann) McDermitt of New Paris; sisters, Carol Sue Bumpus, of Kentucky, Betty (Keith) Rexrode of South Carolina and Rosetta (Bill) Brower of Eaton, OH; 18 grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH. Interment will be held in Friendship Cemetery, Harrison Twp., Darke County, OH. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
