Catherine E. Bartels

CATHERINE E. BARTELS, age 82, of Lewisburg, OH and formerly of Glenwood, Indiana, died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at the residence of her daughter. Born on February 16, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Electa M.(Eppler) Brookey. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family in her own home. She is preceded in death by Brothers: Alfred, Arthur, Thomas and Maylard Brookey.

She is survived by her Husband of 61 years: Ralph E. Bartels; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Betty E.& William J. Agee and Lorena M. & Laren E. Lakes both of Lewisburg, Ohio and Deborah L. & Walter R. Harding of Arlington, Indiana; Sister-in-law: Ida Brookey of Dayton, Ohio; Grandchildren: Quimby (Paul) Williams, Bonnie (Steve) Hall, Derrick (Mary) Garner, Machell (Jerry) Robertson, Merinda (Chris) Deaton, Lucretia (Kenneth) Pursifull and Nicole Harding; Great Grandchildren: Timothy and Christopher Williams, Samuel, Jessica and Tyler Robertson, Zachery, Steven and Chloe Deaton, Breanna Garner and Janessa Busburg.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. - Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with Rev. Rick Ramey officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
