CATHERINE “KATIE” L. (STACK) ALLEN, age 94, of Kettering, Ohio died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Oaks of Kettering in Kettering, Ohio. Born on June 20, 1911 in Eaton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edmund L. & Mary Ellan (Cahill) Stack. Catherine retired in 1970 as a Nurse at the VA Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, she also had worked in private pratice. Preceded in death by Sisters: Annanelle Doty in 1993 and Mary Leona Harris in 1997.

Survived by Husband: Jack L. Allen. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 12:00 pm at Visitation Catholic Church - 407 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Father J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery - Eaton, Ohio. Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 11:30 am at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio 45320. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Rosary Service at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton - 324 Wilmington Avenue - Dayton, Ohio 45420.
