Carolyn Sue Thomas

Carolyn Sue (Jones) Thomas, age 53, formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Monday, November 26, 2007 at Heritage House of Richmond, Indiana after an extended illness. Born on October 22, 1954 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Kenneth H. & Betty L. (Hart) Jones. She graduated in 1973 from Richmond High School in Indiana. Carolyn had worked at Sears Department Store in Richmond, Indiana as a waitress in the Soda Shop and was a clerk for over 15 years.

Preceded in death by her father, Kenneth “Kenny” H. Jones in 1977.

Survived by her husband of 33 years, Dan Thomas, Sr. of New Paris, Ohio; mother, Betty Jones; children, Dan & Deborah Thomas, Jr. and Brian & Adriane Thomas; sister & brother-in-law, Lynda & Richard Sheets all of Richmond, Indiana; several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
