Carolyn Opal (Ehrhardt) Brinkerhoff

Carolyn Opal (Ehrhardt) Brinkerhoff, age 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born on March 15, 1936 in Camden, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell Girton & Mamie Marie (Avery) Ehrhardt. She devoted her life to helping others as Director of Nursing at the Shriner's Burns Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio until her retirement.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Loren Wallace Brinkerhoff in 1987; sister, Linda (Ehrhardt) Lee; brother, Burdette Ehrhardt; granddaughter, Jana Marie Bishop.

She is survived by her children, Patricia M. (Don Bubenhofer) Bishop of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brad L. (Fran) Brinkerhoff of Hamilton, Ohio and Tim J. (Christy) Brinkerhoff of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Barbara (Ray) Mobley of Prospect, Ohio, Nancy (Jim) Hill of Gainsville, Georgia and Celeste (Charles) Ackman of Camden, Ohio; brother, Charles (Janet) Ehrhardt of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Ruth Ehrhardt of Camden, Ohio; grandchildren, Craig Joseph Bishop, Christina Louise Brinkerhoff, Daniel Adam Brinkerhoff, Jacob Loren Brinkerhoff and Ashley Renee Brinkerhoff; numerous nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends at St. Johns Westminster Union Church.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Johns Westminster Union Church, 1085 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio with Pastor Marsha Webster officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church prior to the service.
