Carol Sue White

Carol Sue (Gibbs) White, age 83, of Richmond, Indiana, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.  Born on December 8, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana, daughter of the late Willard & Kathryn (Phenis) Gibbs. 

Carol had worked at the family business of White’s Home Improvement in Richmond, Indiana for many years before retirement.

Preceded by her husband of 39 years, K. Norman White in 1996; grandson, Scott White in 2011; stepdad who raised her, Wesley Spahr; aunt, who raised her, Pearl Ketchum.

Survived by son, Norman Scott White; daughter & son-in-law, Rose & Jeff Sievers; grandchildren, Carolyn Cunningham and Mary White; great grandchildren, Brittany Schultz, Brooke Cunningham, Drake Cunningham, Hannah Cunningham, Parker Webb, Dillon White, Desi Kepler, and Denver Kepler; great great grandchildren, Jordan, Avery, Henry, and Aria; numerous cousins and friends.

Graveside will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Elkhorn Cemetery, 5362 Esteb Road, Richmond, Indiana (state route 27).
