Carol Sue Markunes

CAROL S. MARKUNES, 72, of Springfield, Ohio, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Springfield. She was born on August 23, 1940 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late George Boyd & Allie (Mason) Williams. She was retired after having worked for over 20 years for Carter Lumber Co. in Millville, Ohio. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Stella and Della Williams.

Carol is survived by her children, Jody L. (Jeff) Carmack of Dayton, Ohio, Diana Jo Markunes of Dayton, Ohio, Frank (Pam) Markunes of West Carrollton, Ohio and Jackie (Lon) Welz of New Lebanon, Ohio; brothers and sisters, Wanda J. (Ray) Alcorn of College Corner, Ohio, George Fred Williams of Springfield, Ohio, Larry K. (Marilyn) Williams of Westborough, Massachusetts and Linda J. O'Brien of Oxford, Ohio; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes, Eaton, Ohio.
