Carol S. Case

Carol S. Case, age 81 of New Paris, Ohio, died Friday, May 5, 2017 at Brookdale in Greenville, OH. Born on May 23, 1935 in Montgomery County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Ledford & Mildred (Craig) McElwee and raised by the late Wilber & Mildred (Craig) Cook.

Carol attended the Cedar Grove Church in New Paris. She loved horses and helped farm and restore homes with her late husband. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years: Ralph Adra Case in 2006 and son: Tim Case in November 2016.

Carol is survived by Daughters & sons-in-law: Vicky S. & Thomas C. Moore of Hollansburg, OH and Valerie & Jonathan Pipenger of New Paris, Ohio; son: Mark Case of Ozark, Arkansas; daughter-in-law: Maureen Case of London, Ohio; sister: Mary & Lamar Leggett of Florida. 17 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 W. Main Street - New Paris, Ohio. The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris.
