Carol J. Mills

Carol J. Mills, age 78, of New Paris, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on October 22, 1928 in Wayne County Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ulbert J. & Roberta Bird Gentry. She was a self employed Nurse and home Caregiver and friend to many. Member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Liberty, IN and a 4 H leader in Preble County for many years. Her life was a gift to others and her heart was for children. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Preceded in death by brothers: Clarence Edward Gentry, Oliver Earl Gentry, Raymond Gentry; sisters: Carolyn Vance, Jean Ulrich and Ella May Shull.

Survived by husband of 60 years: Ora Kenneth Mills; Daughters & sons-in-law: Barbara & Robert Dungan of New Paris, OH and Gloria & Carleton Zwiesler of Eaton, OH; Sister: Barbara Flory of Union City, IN; brothers: William Rentfrow of Connersville, IN, Ulbert James Gentry of Texas and Walter Rentfrow, Jr. of Centerville, IN. Grandchildren: Robin Dungan & Dennis McWilliams of Columbus, OH, Chris & Trudy Dungan of Eaton, OH, Leslie & John Sumner of Monroe, OH, Heather & John Ball of Liberty, IN, David Zwiesler of Eaton, OH and Karen & David Lynch of Eaton, OH; great grandchildren: Sara Sumner, Jack Sumner, Erica Ball, Morgan Ball, Travis Sorrell, Ty McGuire, Emily Dungan, Trenton Dungan and Tanner Dungan.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:30 pm Sunday, August 12, 2007 at St. Paul United Methodist Church - 301 E. Main St. - New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends after the service at the church.
