Carmon Davidson

Carmon “Barney” Davidson, age 78, of Camden, OH, died Tuesday evening, June 6, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, OH. Born on July 22, 1927 in Oneida, KY he was the son of the late Pearl & Bertha (Davis) Davidson. Barney was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and was a retired Carpenter for Versco Homes of Camden, OH. Member of Higher Heights Church of God in Camden, OH. Preceded in death by wife of 49 years: Shirley M. (Baldwin) Davidson in 2003 and a brother: Charles Davidson.

Survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Linda & Paul Taylor, Carmen & Daniel Speir and Rebecca Davidson all of Camden, OH. Sons & daughters-in-law: Donald & Jesse Davidson of Camden, OH, Darrell & Betty Davidson of Findley, OH, David & Darlene Davidson of Hamilton, OH, Lonnie & Nikki Davidson and Larry & Donna Davidson both of Camden, OH. brother: Phil Davidson of Hamilton, OH; sisters: Martha Gilbert and Cledith Rogers both of Oneida, KY, Flory Smith and Nina Allen both of London, KY, 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday June 10, 2006 at Higher Heights Church of God - 8111 U.S. Rt. 127 South - Camden, OH with Rev. Darrell Davidson and Rev. Marvin Hocker officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Higher Heights Church of God - 8111 U.S. Rt. 127 South - Camden, OH 45311.
