Carl W. Hofacker

Carl W. Hofacker, 73, of Verona, Ohio died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on August 17, 1934 in Preble County, Ohio he was the son of the late Chester W. & Estella M. (Weimer) Hofacker. Carl was a Dayton News rural carrier for 20 years and had worked at Standard of Dayton. He was a Korean War veteran and a life member of the V.F.W. post 975 of Lewisburg. Preceded in death by his wife of 44 years: Thelma J. (Boose) Hofacker in 2005, two brothers: Roland Hofacker and Gerald Hofacker.

Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Randy & Donna Hofacker of Lewisburg, OH; 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 25, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Rodney Brower officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery - Brookville, Ohio. Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the funeral home.
