Carl W. Anderson

CARL W. ANDERSON, age 67 of Camden, OH, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. Born on June 12, 1944 in College Corner, IN, he was the son of the late Lester & Elizabeth (Holland) Anderson. Carl was a U.S. Army veteran during Vietnam and was retired from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Carl was a member of the Great Miami Beagle Club, Whitewater Beagle Club and the Somerville Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by a brother: Donald Anderson in 1996.

Survived by his Wife of 30 years: Rita J. (Newton) Anderson; Son & Daughter-in-law: Scott W. (Sharon) Anderson, Richmond, IN; Grandchildren: Lily & Clay Anderson; Sister: Linda (Melvin) Moore, Indianapolis, IN; Brothers: Ernest (Diane) Anderson, Monroe, MI, David (Ruthann) VanWinkle, Connersville, IN; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main Street, Camden, OH with Rev. Brian Underwood officiating. Interment will be held in College Corner Cemetery, West College Corner, IN with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
