Carl N. "Nick" Steele

Carl N. "Nick" Steele, age 76 of Camden, OH, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his residence. Born on January 9, 1938 in Okeana, OH, he was the son of the late Everett E. & Hazel M. (Widau) Steele. He had worked for Jefferies Meat Market for 28 years and retired in 2005 from Miami University in Oxford, OH after 25 years. He was a 1956 Camden High School graduate.

Survivors include his Wife of 54 years: Mildred J. (Wright) Steele; Children: Betsy Gray, Camden, OH, Polly Steele - (Kathy) Puma, Portland, OR, Jill (Dwayne) Terry, Middletown, OH; Brothers & Sisters: Evelyn (Herb) Summers, Athens, TN, Frances Webb, Oxford, OH, Neil (Marion) Steele, Gainesville, GA, Elaine (Jack) Vivian, Bowling Green, OH, Helen (Don) Whitesell, Camden, OH, Dottie (Bob) Williamson, Centerville, OH, David (Brenda) Steele, Middletown, OH and Martha (Mike) Spellman, Brentwood, CA; Grandchildren: Krista Gray, Jared Gray, Jayla Terry and Gabriel Steele-Puma.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main Street, Camden, OH with Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
