Calvin S. Seals

CALVIN SCOTT SEALS, age 65, formerly of Camden, Ohio died Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Laurel of Middletown.  Born on August 5, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph & Allie Katherine (Doan) Seals.  Calvin has lived in Preble County most of his life graduated in 1974 from Preble Shawnee High School in Camden, Ohio.  He proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a Truck Driver.  In 1999 he retired from Heartland Express of Rapid City, Iowa after 23 years as a Truck Driver.  Member of the Camden Masonic Lodge and many other Masonic appendant bodies.  Member of the West Elkton United Methodist Church.         

Survived by his former wife: Elizabeth Seals West of Franklin, Ohio; Daughters: Shannon (Lane) Nally of Springboro, Ohio and Heather Stevens of Middletown, Ohio; Grandchildren: Cari (Brandon) Ward, Sebastian (Ashley) Murray, Kodi (Taylor) Nally, Tylr Tibbs, Cheyane Nally and Jeffrey Tibbs; 7 great grandchildren; Sister: Verna Ward of Florida, Brothers: Dwight Seals of Cincinnati, Ohio, James Seals of Eaton, Ohio nephews, nieces, cousins & friends.        

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street Eaton, Ohio. The Funeral Services Masonic & Scottish Rite Services will be held 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
