Burdette White

BURDETTE WHITE, 89, of Eaton, Ohio, died Friday, October 3, 2008 at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford, Ohio. He was born July 8, 1919 in Israel Township, Preble County, Ohio, son of the late Lerton C. & Florence Edna (Miller) White. He was a 1937 graduate of Dixon High School and was a farmer in Dixon Township all his life. He was a member of the Sugar Valley United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau Discussion Group # 4. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Pauline Cail (Ketron) White who died on July 12, 2008.

Survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Gene & Judy (Bottone) White of Hudson, Ohio, Gordon B. & Carolyn Sue (Kidwell) White of Oxford, Ohio and Larry R. White of Eaton; brother, Harold Lloyd White of Oxford, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) White, Matthew (Gina)White, Kristie (Glen)Koker, Kellee White and Elizabeth (Randy) Marshal; great grandchildren, Miriam White, Miller White, Charis and Norah Marshal; brother-in-law & wife, Dale & Margaret Ketron of Eaton and sisters-in-law, Wanda M. Ketron of Lebanon, Ohio and Geraldine M. Ketron of Eaton.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 6, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. George Copus officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
