Bruce R. Hall

Bruce R. Hall, 67, of New Paris, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, August 23, 2024 at his residence. Born on November 13, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Earl E. and Dorothy E. (Peters) Hall. A faithful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, Bruce loved autobody work, gardening, farming and horses but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Bruce was a self-employed contractor, a 1976 graduate of Twin Valley South High School and member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Colonel Edwin E. Hall, Charles W. Hall and David L. Hall; grandson: Johnnie Paul and best friend and brother-in-law: Chuck Boggs. 

Survived by his Wife of 45 years: Patricia E. (Boggs) Hall; Children: Michele L. and Jason Reynolds, Michael E. Hall, and Mitchell R. and Mary Hall; Siblings: Jerry (Carol) Hall, and Elizabeth (Barry) Harper; sisters-in-laws: Carol, Billie and Judy Hall; grandchildren: Alyssa (Jeffrey) Constable, Angel (Damon) Ewry, Trysten Hall, Trevor (Amber) Hall, Elsie (Adam Evans) Hall, Mika Hall, Ethan Hall, Desi Kepler, and Denver Kepler; great grandchildren, Bruce, Hazlee, Heartlynn, Willow, Charleigh, and one on the way; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Michael Shaeffer officiating. The interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
