Bruce Alan Perry, Sr.

Bruce A. Perry, Sr., 70, of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Kettering, Ohio after a short and sudden illness. Born on September 7, 1952 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Kenneth E. & Mary A. (Ferro) Perry.

Bruce was a home builder in the Preble and Wayne County Indiana areas. He attended Richmond High School and then served in the U.S. Army during Desert Shield/Storm and reserves for many years. He worked with Habitat for Humanity in Preble County, Home Farms Group Home, served as General Contractor for the Camden City Hall project and had operated Pizza Express in Eaton. Served with the MRDD Special Olympics and attended Grace Lutheran Church in Eaton.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas Lee Perry and Ralph Edward Perry.

Survived by his Wife of 28 years: Carol Ann (Hardin) Perry; Children: Bruce A. Perry, Jr., Rebecca (Scott) Wilson and Barbara Perry; Brothers: William “Bill” Perry, Darrell (DeeAnn) Perry, Kenneth (Mary Susan) Perry and Rick (Maria) Perry; Sister: Brenda Perry.

Grandchildren: Dalton Sanches, Cody Perry, Tiffany (Trent) Baldwin, Ciara York, Matthew Perry, Hannah Perry, Natalie (Richard) Salisbury and Jackie Mills; 3 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Lutheran Drive, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Dwight Hanson officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
