BRUCE A. ELEY, age 58 of Lewisburg, OH died Friday, April 16, 2010 in Dayton, OH. Born on January 12, 1952 in Greenville, OH, he was the son of the late Lloyd E. & Bette J. (Shiverdecker) Eley. Bruce retired in 1995 from the Preble County Engineers Office – Highway Dept. Member of the Sons of the Legion in West Manchester, OH, Cornerstone Church of the Brethren in Lewisburg, Darke County Coin Club, former Mayor and Council Member in West Manchester, a Squad and Fire Department member for Monroe Twp., and West Manchester.

Survived by Wife of 35 years: Martha M. “Marti” (Wilcox) Eley; Daughter & Son-in-law: Heather A. & Andrew Glenn, Dayton, OH, Sons & Daughters-in-law: Aaron L. & Brianna Eley, Castine, OH, Mark E. & Alisha Eley, Mt. Juliet, TN; Brother & Sister-in-law: Gary E. & Vicky Eley, Eldorado, OH; Grandchildren: Levi & Noah Glenn, Hunter Eley and soon to be Brooklynne Eley. Nieces & Nephews, Uncles & Aunts.

Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Cornerstone Church of the Brethren, corner of Main and Dayton Streets, Lewisburg with Rev. Charles Rinehart officiating. Inurnment will be made at the convenience of the family in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Tuesday after the service at the church.
