Brent N. Bowers

Brent N. Bowers, age 56, of Eaton, Ohio died Friday afternoon, October 5, 2007 at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio and was a 1969 graduate of Eaton High School. He received his Bachelors Degree in Management in 1981 from Purdue University. He was employed at Baxter Labs at Eaton from 1970 to 1979; Park Davis of Miamisburg from 1979 to 1983; Abbott Labs from 1983 to 2003 and retired in 2004 from Hospira Hospital Products as Plant Manager. He had worked internationally with the companies for several years in management positions. Brent attended the New Hope United Methodist Church. He was active in community events including the White Christmas of Eaton; Downtown Eaton, Inc.; Preble County Fair; Community Chorus and Habitat for Humanity.

Survived by wife of 28 years: Patricia Ann “Patti” (Bell) Bowers; Father & Mother: Herman & Edna (Erbaugh) Bowers of Eaton, OH.; Daughters & son-in-law: Jennifer & Terry Necessary of Hollansburg, OH and Kelly Bowers of AZ; Son & Daughter-in-law: John & Lisa Bell of Eaton, OH; Brother & sister-in-law: Doug & Jill Bowers of Brookville, OH. Grandchildren: Jerin Whetstone, Delaney Bell and Chris Cottingim. Nieces and nephews: Sarah (Kevin) Keefe, Mark Bowers and Rachel Bowers.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at New Hope United Methodist Church - U. S. 35 West - New Hope, Ohio with Rev. Kathy O’Donnell officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio 45320 and prior to the service at the church.
