Brenda B. Geeting

Brenda B. Geeting, age 80 of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on March 25, 1941, in Boyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Benton & Mary Kathyrn (Stewart) Longshore. Brenda was a 1959 graduate of Germantown High School in Germantown, Ohio, and a graduate of Miami Jacobs Career College in Dayton. Brenda was a tax preparer for Geeting Tax Service for many years; a 4H advisor and was a member of Eaton Community Church in Eaton. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold E. Geeting in 2017 and her son, Matthew B. Geeting in 2000.  Survived by her daughter, Amy L. Howard; grandchildren, Bree Anne (Terry) Hancock, Alexis K. Geeting, Fred W. Howard IV and Ethan I. Howard; great granddaughter, Luna N. Hancock; brother-in-law, Robert Geeting; niece, Cindy Schiefer and nephew, John Geeting.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Dr. Dan Denlinger officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens near West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
