Blaine D. Byrket

Blaine D. (Crampton) Byrket, age 68 of New Paris, OH, died on Saturday morning, July 22, 2023, at her residence. Born July 27, 1954 in Arkansas City, Kansas she was the daughter of the late Eric C. & Georgemae A. (Elwick) Crampton.

Blaine and her husband Bruce owned and operated Rim Technologies, Wheelguard and Southern Comfort Bar and Grill of New Paris and the  Bohio de Luquillo restaurant in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. She marched in 1972 Rose Bowl Parade with the Arkansas City High School Band. 1975 to 1993 she was a co-owner with her mother Ports of Travel in Dallas, TX. She had been active with the Food Bank of New Paris. Blaine and her niece Stefani had worked together and were very close.

Preceded in death by husband of 18 years, Bruce W. Byrket in 2013; brother: Kevin B. Crampton.

Survivors: brother: Eric “Bryan” (Catherine) Crampton of Greenville, OH; sister: Brooke (Joel) Mahnken of Leavenworth, KS; nieces: Stefani A. (Brad) Halloran and Brooklyn Crampton and nephews: Bobby Crampton, Michael Crampton, Ryan Crampton; Cousins: Jeff & Debbie Smyer, and Greg & Edna Smyer.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 28, 2023, and one hour prior to the service at Barnes Funeral Home – 109 West Main Street New Paris, Ohio. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 29, 2023, with Pastor Dave Shelter officiating.
