Billy J. Miller

BILLY J. “Bub” MILLER, age 67 of Brookville, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home Sunday evening, October 29, 2006. Billy retired from the Brookville VFW Post #3288 in 2001 and had previously worked as a mechanic at Stengers Ford in Dayton and Salem Mall Lincoln Mercury in Trotwood. He was an avid sports fan, loved classic cars and attended several clubs including the West Milton VFW, American Legion and Eagles and the Brookville AmVets. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Virginia (Sewert) Miller in 1969; Infant Daughter: Faith Miller in 1961; Brother-in-laws: Charles Kouts in 1993 and Paul Ryan in 2004; Aunt: Josephine Good in 1998; Uncles: Robert Good in 1989 and Bill Sewert in 2003; Maternal Grandparents: Henry and Louise Sewert.

Survived by Sisters: Nancy (Miller) Kouts, Brookville, OH, Barbara (Miller) Ryan, Eaton, OH; Nephews: Dennis Kouts, Lewisburg, OH, Doug Haston, Eaton, OH; Niece: Denise Walton, Eaton, OH; Aunt: Marjorie Sewert, Lewisburg, OH; Cousins: Bob Sewert, Lewisburg, OH, Jeff Sewert, Brookville, OH and Judy Dillon of Camden, OH; Special friend: Judy Wilson, Union, OH; other extended family and many friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 N. Commerce St. - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiting. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
