Bill E. York, 74, of New Paris, OH, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Born on December 17, 1941 in Philomath, IN, son of the late James & Ruby (Darrah) York. A 1959 graduate of Centerville High School in Indiana. Bill was a successful Entrepreneur and had worked at Dana Corp (Perfect Circle), Farmer, Self-Employed Truck Driver, Owner & Operator of Bill's Excavating in New Paris and Owner & Operator of York Manor in New Paris. Member of the Masonic Lodge in New Paris, OH.

Preceded in death by his brother, James Thomas York, Jr.

Survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Ruth (Harmon) York; his three children, Bob & Shannon York of Lynn, IN, Brenda Davis of Lewisburg, OH and Barbara & Randy Duffield of New Paris, OH; his eight grandchildren, Melinda (Josh) McCord, Samuel (Sarah) Davis, Robert (Marshalle) York, Tonya (Kurt) Ellis, Eric (Kayla) York, Kevin (Aimee) York, Angelena (Joe) Carnes and Kane Davis; 16 great grandchildren.

The Family would like to invite you to Celebrate Bill's Life at 12:00 PM, Monday, September 12, 2016 at Living Faith Church of God, 3777 Nolands Fork Rd., Richmond, IN with Pastor Allen Henderson officiating. Interment will be held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Boston, IN. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday at the church prior to the service.
