Betty R. "Sandy" York

Betty R. “Sandy” York, 75, of New Paris, OH, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Born on October 20, 1942 in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio the daughter of the late Arthur & Irene (Burns) Harmon. She was a School Bus Driver for over 25 years and retired from National Trail School District. Betty loved working crossword puzzles, avid fan of Elvis and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and fun with friends. 

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Bill E. York in 2016; sister: Dixie Lee Blair in 2016. 

Survived by her children: Bob & Shannon York of Lynn, IN, Brenda Davis of Lewisburg, OH and Barbara & Randy Duffield of New Paris, OH; eight grandchildren: Melinda (Josh) McCord, Samuel (Sarah) Davis, Robert (Marshalle) York, Tonya (Kurt) Ellis, Eric (Kayla) York, Kevin (Aimee) York, Angelena (Joe) Carnes and Kane Davis; 18 great grandchildren; sister: Cindy Lou Abrams of Lynn, IN and brother: Arthur Ray Harmon of Richmond, IN.  

The Family would like to invite you to Celebrate Betty’s Life at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, Ohio Interment will be held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Boston, IN.
