BETTY M. COMP, age 82 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio following an extended illness. Born on June 30, 1921 in Little Sauk Township, Todd County, Minnesota she was the daughter of the late Archie & Eva(Kircher) Arnold. She was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired secretary from Dayton Progress in Dayton, Ohio. Member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church where she participated as the church organist for many years. She is preceded in death by her Husband: Raymond O. Comp in 1977; Brother: Wallace Arnold and Sister: Arlene Miser.

She is survived by a Daughter: Katherine May of Eaton, Ohio; Son: Michael Comp of West Sonora, Ohio; Brother: John Arnold of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and Sister: Ethel Madigan of Seattle, Washington; Five Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 - 12:00 P.M. at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church- 200 West Dayton Street- Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home- 411 North Commerce St-Lewisburg, Ohio 45338. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with full Military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
