Betty L. Horigan

BETTY L. HORIGAN, age 84, of Eaton and formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on February 9, 1922 in Lewisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John & Marie (Baker) Keller, Sr. She was a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Holiday Inn in Richmond, Indiana until her retirement and was also the head cook for the City Restaurant and the Lampost both in New Paris. Preceded in death by husband: John E. Horigan, Sr. in 1998, son: John E. Horigan, Jr. in 1991, a brother: Robert Keller and a son-in-law: Daryl Moore.

Survived by Daughters & Son-in-law: Carol (Dean) Keller and Shirley Moore both of Eaton, Ohio; Sisters: June Arnett and Joyce (Ronnie) Neanen both of New Paris; Brothers: John (Joan) Keller of New Paris, Richard Keller of Eaton, Raymond Keller of Arizona and James (Alisha) Keller of Bowling Green, Ohio; Grandchildren: Deanna (Mick) Ditmer, Dawn (Steve) White, Darin (Dee) Moore, Doug Moore, Todd (Candy) Horigan and Tammy (Jim) Cail. Great Grandchildren: Danielle and Darci Ditmer, Lindsay, Jordan, and Brandon Moore, Ana White, Dustin Moore and Jacob and Sara Cail; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Barnes Funeral Home-109 West Main Street-New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Mark Wesler officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
