BETTY JO (NISBET) CLAYTON, 90, of Centerville, Ohio and formerly of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Bethany Village in Centerville, OH. Born on December 9, 1919 in Eaton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dr. James I. & Bessie M. (Russell) Nisbet. Betty was a 1938 Eaton High School graduate and attended Miami University in Oxford, OH. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceded in death by a son, James Charles Clayton in 1942; brother, Russell Jackson Nisbet in 1917.
Survived by her husband of 69 years, Dr. William S. Clayton, DDS; sons & daughters-in-law, Dr. William Scott & Nancy L. Clayton, II, Eaton, OH, Robert Bruce & Veronica Clayton, Centerville, OH; daughters & son-in-law, Betsy Lee & Dr. Allan Brubaker, Cincinnati, OH, Barbara Sue & Dr. John Wehrly, Hendersonville, NC; brother, Dr. Dick M. Nisbet, Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Traci & David Grissom, Doug & Kelly Clayton, Bruce & Lynn Clayton, Anne & Victor Burpee, Katie Clayton, Kim & Paul Stelmack, Kerri & Jason Johnson, Kelly Brubaker, Rob & Jen Brubaker, Beth & Ben Caston and Kristin & Drew Fleming; great grandchildren, Allison, Carley, Maci & Emma Stelmack; Abbi & Drew Grissom; Adra & Cole Clayton; Zach, Melanie & Lindsey Johnson and AvaJane Burpee; nieces & nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. No Public Calling. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, Ohio.
