Betty Edwards

BETTY (LEWIS) EDWARDS, 76 of West Elkton, Ohio, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at her residence. Betty was born on April 11, 1936 in Leslie County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Linda Belle (Farley) Lewis. She was a member of the West Elkton Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wayne Edwards in 2006; sisters, Eva See, Bertha Boggs, Ruby Smith and Lola Francis; brothers: Corbett Lewis and infant brother Ray Lewis.

She is survived by her children, Anthony Wayne & Leah Edwards of Hamilton, Ohio, Patricia Ellaine Edwards , Diane Marie & Doug Elam and Timothy Dale & Cheryl Edwards all of West Elkton, Ohio ; sisters, Faye (Orman) Bach of Eaton, Ohio and Edith (Leroy) Cassidy of Camden, Ohio; sister-in-law: Erma Lewis, Somerville, OH; brother-in-law, Jim Francis of London, Kentucky; grandchildren, John (Becky) Edwards, James (Sherry) Edwards, Rachal (Andrew) Soper, Stephanie Pletcher, Linda (Robbie) Lakes, Alexa, Cheyanne and Gunner Edwards; three step grandchildren, Doug (Renee) Elam, David (Kathy) Elam, and Peggy Gamell; numerous great grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2012 at the West Elkton Church of Christ, 12153 State Route 503 South, West Elkton, Ohio with Elder Paul Pennington officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
