One of the most important things to Bessie was her husband and daughters. She was the most wonderful, loving wife that any husband could ask for and the best Mother any one could ever have. Bessie was a day care provider for over 30 years, licensed through Preble County for 20 of those years. Bessie also was commended for not only being a day care center provider, but also a Mother to most of her day care children. Bessie was a fantastic league bowler at Preble Lanes and a member of the Country Kickers Line Dance Group, for many years. Bessie also loved her exercise group which she was a faithful member, and they met at the United Methodist Church, every Tuesday and Thursday. Those friends are some of the best friends anyone could ever have and love.
She is preceded in death by a sister Peggy Bowman; brothers-in-law, Joe Sorrell, Bruce Smith, Robert "Bobby" Carroll, and William "Sonny" Carroll; father & mother-in-law, Willis & Argie Carroll.
Bessie is the most amazing and caring woman we have ever known. She put everyone's needs before her own, even to the very end.
