Bertha (Fields) Ebersole, age 77, of Eldorado, Ohio, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at residence. Born on May 20, 1934 in Breathitt County, KY she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Lucinda Belle (Childers) Fields. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Eldorado Unitarian Universalist Church, where she served as treasurer of the auxiliary. Preceded in death by sisters: Ida Mae Johnson, Naomi Uhrig and Sinda Spencer and brother Ancil Fields.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years William M. Ebersole whom she married on March 24, 1951. Three daughters & sons-in-law: Deborah & Barry Trump of Eaton, Ohio, Sharon Wendel of Allenspark, Colorado and Tonya & Jim Clark of Eldorado, Ohio; one son & daughter-in-Law: William E. & Marsha Ebersole of Elkhorn, Nebraska, brother: Liberty Fields of Burnside, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Amy Haas, Brett Trump, Kelly Rose, Dana Cravens, Courtney Gould, Mary Wendel, Heather Brooks and Logan Brooks and six great-grandchildren, Alexa Rose, Dylan Haas, Kyle Haas, Kaden Cravens, Jamison Gould and Andrew Wendel.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, November 12, 2011at Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home – 311 North Main Street Eldorado, Ohio with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer, nephew, officiating. Interment will be in Ware's Chapel Cemetery – West Manchester, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
